Environmental policy to green up your mobile bar service
We are aware of how wasteful mobile bar services often are and have now taken steps to ensure we become part of the global warming solution rather than adding to the problem. We have recently changed our policies and procedures so that the following goals are met:

Bar waste packaging and receptacles will be recycled or, if possible, composted.

All compostable bar waste will be taken off site and composted.

Ice receptacles will be used to chill drinks instead of diesel refrigeration units unless agreed otherwise.

All Bars by Design printed material will be on recycled paper and, where possible, we will communicate electronically.

Bars by Design bars will use FSC wood, local fabric suppliers, and bamboo bars will be offered as an eco-friendly alternative to all clients.

We will encourage the use of compostable plastics when plastic glassware is necessary.

All company vehicles, including those required for group transportation of staff, will be run on diesel and begin the transition to bio-diesel in 2008.
